The Triple Crown and Beyond
Polo and the best of Argentina in one trip. A week in Buenos Aires around the Triple Crown, then the Iguazú Falls in the far north, or Mendoza's vineyards under the Andes.
Why go further
Argentina is a long way to go for a weekend. Add a few days and you can see some of the great sights of South America either side of the polo.
The Iguazú Falls are a short flight north of Buenos Aires: hundreds of falls along the border with Brazil, seen from both sides. Mendoza, to the west, is Malbec country, with vineyards running up to the foot of the Andes.
Day by day
A sample trip. Every day can be changed, swapped or dropped: the polo days follow the 2027 schedule once it is announced.

Good to know
When to go
September to December, when the opens are played. Iguazú is warm and humid; Mendoza is warm and dry.
Tickets
We arrange tickets for the matches you want to see, subject to availability. Finals sell out first, so the earlier you ask, the better.
Time difference
Argentina is three hours behind the UK in the British winter and four in the British summer, so jet lag is mild.
What to wear
Smart casual. Bring a hat and sunscreen: the stands can be in full sun.
Getting there
Flights from the UK go via Madrid or via Brazil. British Airways' Heathrow service to Buenos Aires currently stops in Rio de Janeiro, with non-stop flights (about 14 hours) due to return from 28 March 2027. Flying via Rio? It makes an easy stopover: add a few days in Rio de Janeiro before or after your trip. International flights are not included: you book your own and we plan the trip around them.
Entry: British passport holders
Argentina: no visa needed for tourism for up to 90 days. Your passport must be valid for the whole of your stay. Brazil (a Rio stopover, or the Brazilian side of Iguazú): no visa needed for up to 90 days. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you arrive in Brazil. Travelling on another passport? Check your own government's advice. Checked against GOV.UK travel advice on 5 October 2026. Rules can change: always check before you travel.
Internal flights
Flights between regions are arranged for you by our team on the ground.
Add to any trip
Every trip can be extended before or after the polo:
Iguazú Falls
One to three days at the falls in the far north, with guided visits to the Argentine and Brazilian sides.
Mendoza's wine country
Two to four days among the vineyards under the Andes, with private tastings and a driver.
