Three championship courses in eight days. The 1879 parkland of Royal Colombo, a Donald Steel design in the hills above Kandy, and a Rodney Wright course on the south coast - played as part of the Legends & Paradise Golf Premier.
THE TOURNAMENT
Three Courses, One Island
Sri Lanka is small enough to cross in a week and varied enough that the three courses have nothing in common. Royal Colombo is colonial parkland, founded in 1879 and still the oldest club on the island. Victoria is a Donald Steel design in the hills above Kandy, laid out along a reservoir with the tea country behind it. Shangri-La Hambantota is a Rodney Wright course on the south coast, the Indian Ocean on one side and scrub jungle on the other. Between the rounds: the tea estates, the Temple of the Tooth, Yala, and Galle Fort on the way back up.

Your Itinerary — 29 March to 5 April 2027
Day One · Monday 29 March
Arrival in Colombo
A VIP welcome at the airport and the forty-five minute run into Colombo. An afternoon city tour taking in the National Museum and Gangarama Temple. Optional: a sunset catamaran cocktail cruise and a welcome dinner at the hotel.
Day Two · Tuesday 30 March
Round One at Royal Colombo
Eighteen holes at Royal Colombo Golf Club, founded in 1879 and the oldest club on the island. A shotgun start at around nine, with prizes for Longest Drive, Nearest the Pin and Best Score of the Day. Optional: an afternoon run north to Negombo for the Dutch fort, St Mary's Church and the fish market.
Day Three · Wednesday 31 March
Into the hills
Up to Kandy through the hill country, stopping at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and a working tea plantation for a tasting. Check in at Earl's Regency, then the Temple of the Tooth for the evening ceremony and a performance of Kandyan dance. Optional: an Ayurvedic massage and a traditional Kandyan feast.
Day Four · Thursday 1 April
Round Two at Victoria
Victoria Golf Resort, a Donald Steel design in the hills above the Victoria reservoir, then back to Kandy. Optional: a fusion theme night at Earl's Regency with live saxophone.
Day Five · Friday 2 April
South to the coast
Down from the hills to the south coast and Shangri-La Hambantota. An afternoon safari by 4x4 in Yala National Park, looking for leopard, elephant and sloth bear. Dinner at the resort is included. Optional extra: a barbecue on the beach.
Day Six · Saturday 3 April
Round Three at Hambantota
The Rodney Wright course at Shangri-La Hambantota, next door to the resort, with the coast alongside. Dinner at the resort is included. Optional extra: the seafood gala dinner on the beach.
Day Seven · Sunday 4 April
Galle and the gala
Along the south coast to Galle Fort for a guided walk and a turtle conservation project, then back to Colombo for the black-tie Grand Finale gala dinner and awards at Shangri-La Colombo.
Day Eight · Monday 5 April
Departure
A farewell breakfast, free time depending on your flight, and a VIP transfer to the airport.
Entry, tee times, hotels and transfers arranged end to end.
