• Information you provide through our enquiry forms and website chat

• Design a bespoke travel itinerary based on your requirements
• Prepare your quotation and, if you book, arrange your trip
• Share what is necessary with the suppliers who deliver your trip
• Communicate with you about your enquiry and any follow-up questions
• Improve our website and services through analytics
• Send you marketing communications, but only with your explicit consent

4. Sharing Your Information with Suppliers

Important:

Follow On Tours contracts directly with you. To arrange and deliver the trip you book, we share the information necessary with the suppliers involved — for example hotels, transport and transfer providers, and our local operating partners. We share only what is needed to make those arrangements.

Some of these suppliers are based outside the UK, in the country you are travelling to. Your personal data may therefore be transferred to and processed in that country. Our suppliers are contractually required to handle your data in accordance with applicable data protection law.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

• Consent — when you submit an enquiry, you consent to us processing your data and sharing it with ground operators
• Legitimate interests — to operate and improve our services, and to communicate with you about your enquiry
• Legal obligation — where required by law

6. Data Retention

We retain your enquiry data for up to 24 months after your last interaction with us. After this period, your data will be securely deleted unless we are required by law to retain it for longer.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw your consent at any time
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)

8. Email Addresses and Marketing

Email addresses provided through our website chat, enquiry forms, or direct communication are added to the Follow On Tours database. We use your email address for:

• Sending your personalised tour proposal
• Booking-related communications
• Marketing communications related to cricket travel opportunities

Legal basis: consent, provided at the point you submit your email address. When you provide your email through our AI chat or enquiry form, you consent to being added to our database for the purposes described above.

Unsubscribe: you can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by replying to any email or contacting us at hello@followontours.com.

Third parties: your email address is not shared with any third party for marketing purposes. It is only shared with the suppliers involved in delivering your booking, solely for that purpose.

Retention: email addresses and associated enquiry data are retained for 24 months from your last interaction with us. After this period, your data will be securely deleted unless you request earlier deletion.

9. Enquiries Sent Through AI Assistants

You can ask an AI assistant, such as ChatGPT or Claude, to request a quote from us on your behalf.

What we receive: your name, your email address, the trip and the details you want quoted (for example dates, group size and preferences), your phone number if you choose to give it, and which assistant sent the request.

Why: to send you one email asking you to confirm the request is yours, and then, once you confirm, to prepare your quote.

Before you confirm: the request stays with us only as a pending request. It does not reach our team, nothing is booked or charged, and your details are not added to any mailing list or passed to anyone. If you don’t confirm within 7 days, the request is deleted automatically and we will not contact you about it again.

After you confirm: your enquiry is handled in exactly the same way as one made on our website, as described in the rest of this policy.

Limits: we send no more than 2 confirmation emails to the same email address in any 24 hours, so an assistant cannot be used to send you repeated emails.

If you did not ask for a quote, simply ignore the email and the request will be deleted.

We use cookies and similar technologies to improve your experience on our website and to understand how the site is used. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings.
