Day One
Arrive in Johannesburg, then Sun City
Met at the airport and driven to Sun City, about two and a half hours, for three nights at the Palace of the Lost City.

Gary Player Country Club
The home of the Nedbank Golf Challenge, with caddies.
Day Three
The Lost City
Sun City's second course.
Day Four
To the Kruger
A long drive east, about six hours, to Buhala Lodge on the Crocodile River for three nights.
Day Five
Leopard Creek
A round on the course across the river from the Kruger.
Day Six
On safari
Game drives and time at the lodge.
Day Seven
Home
A morning game drive, then to Kruger Mpumalanga airport, about an hour away.
Make it your own
Add a game drive in the Pilanesberg next to Sun City, or a few nights in Cape Town.

Included
- Hotels. The hotels and lodges in the plan, with breakfast. At the safari lodges, meals and game drives are part of the stay.
- Golf. Green fees for every round in the plan, with tee times booked for you.
- Getting around. Private transfers by road: from the airport, to every course and between the stops.
- On the ground. Met when you land, and a local team on call 24 hours a day while you travel. All local tourism taxes and levies.
Not included
- Flights, international and domestic: book your own and we plan the trip around them. Travel insurance, tips, and meals and drinks unless stated
Good to know
When to go
All year. The Garden Route is mild in every season; the Cape is best from September to April. On the Highveld (Johannesburg and Sun City) summer brings late-afternoon storms from October to April, so we book early tee times.
Getting there
There are direct flights from London Heathrow to Cape Town (about 12 hours) and to Johannesburg (about 11 hours). South Africa is 1 hour ahead of the UK in summer and 2 hours ahead in winter, so there is little jet lag.
Entry
British passport holders need no visa for a holiday of up to 90 days. Your passport must be valid for at least 30 days after you leave and have at least 2 blank pages. Check the GOV.UK travel advice before you travel.
Handicaps
Many clubs ask for a handicap certificate. Bring yours.
Dress
Collared shirts tucked in; no T-shirts or denim on the course.
Malaria
The Kruger is a malaria area. Ask your GP or a travel clinic about tablets before you go.
