The Complete England Cricket Schedule 2026/27 — Every Tour, Every Fixture, Every Venue

England's 2026/27 calendar is one of the most packed in recent memory. Six home series, three overseas tours, and a once-in-a-lifetime anniversary Test in Melbourne. Whether you're planning to watch every ball or picking one series to build a trip around, here's the complete schedule with everything you need to know.

Home Summer 2026

New Zealand in England — June 2026

Crowe-Thorpe Trophy — 3 Tests

  • 1st Test: 4–8 June — Lord's, London
  • 2nd Test: 17–21 June — The Kia Oval, London
  • 3rd Test: 25–29 June — Trent Bridge, Nottingham

The start of a big home summer. New Zealand are always competitive tourists and the Crowe-Thorpe Trophy adds an extra edge. Two London Tests followed by Trent Bridge — three of England's finest grounds.

India in England — July 2026

5 T20Is & 3 ODIs

  • 1st T20I: 1 July — Riverside Ground, Chester-le-Street
  • 2nd T20I: 4 July — Old Trafford, Manchester
  • 3rd T20I: 7 July — Trent Bridge, Nottingham
  • 4th T20I: 9 July — County Ground, Bristol
  • 5th T20I: 11 July — Hampshire Bowl, Southampton
  • 1st ODI: 14 July — Edgbaston, Birmingham
  • 2nd ODI: TBC
  • 3rd ODI: TBC

India in England is always the hottest ticket of the summer. The T20 series criss-crosses the country, and the ODIs will be in high demand. If you're an international fan looking to visit England for this series, we design ground-only itineraries and connect you with specialist operators who handle match tickets, hotels, and transfers.

Pakistan in England — August/September 2026

3 Tests

  • 1st Test: 19–23 August — Headingley, Leeds
  • 2nd Test: 27–31 August — Lord's, London
  • 3rd Test: 9–13 September — Edgbaston, Birmingham

Three iconic grounds for what should be a fascinating Test series. Headingley has a habit of producing drama, Lord's is Lord's, and Edgbaston under lights in September could be special.

Sri Lanka in England — September 2026

ODIs & T20Is (dates TBC)

White ball cricket to close out the home summer. Fixtures and venues to be confirmed — we'll update this page as soon as they're announced.

Overseas Tours 2026/27

England in Australia — October/November 2026

ODI Tri-Series & White Ball Tour

England head to Australia for ODIs and T20Is in October and November 2026. This is a white ball tour only — not an Ashes series — but any trip to Australia for cricket is worth considering, especially if you want to combine it with the South Africa tour that follows.

England in South Africa — December 2026 to January 2027

3 Tests & 3 ODIs

  • 1st Test: 17–21 December — Wanderers, Johannesburg
  • 2nd Test: 26–30 December — SuperSport Park, Centurion
  • 3rd Test: 3–7 January — Newlands, Cape Town
  • 1st ODI: 10 January — Boland Park, Paarl
  • 2nd ODI: 13 January — Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein
  • 3rd ODI: 15 January — Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein

This is the big one. Christmas cricket at the Wanderers, Boxing Day at SuperSport Park, New Year at Newlands beneath Table Mountain — followed by ODIs in the Winelands and the Free State. South Africa is one of the great cricket tour destinations on earth, and I say that having been there fifteen times.

We're building bespoke ground-only itineraries for this tour now — hotels, match tickets, transfers, safari extensions, and everything in between. Read our full South Africa experience guide or start planning your trip.

England in Bangladesh — February 2027

2 Tests

England travel to Bangladesh for a two-Test series in February 2027. Dates and venues to be confirmed. Bangladesh is one of the most underrated cricket tour destinations — the passion for the game is extraordinary, the hospitality is genuine, and the cultural experience stays with you long after you leave.

150th Anniversary Test — England v Australia at the MCG — March 2027

One-off day-night Test (pink ball)

  • 11–15 March 2027 — Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne

This is a once-in-a-lifetime fixture. The 150th anniversary of the very first Test match, played at the MCG in 1877. A day-night pink ball match under the MCG lights, England v Australia, at the ground where it all started. If there's one cricket event to plan a trip around, this might be it.

We're designing itineraries for this fixture — register your interest and we'll be in touch when details are confirmed.

The IPL — March to May 2026

While not an England tour, the IPL 2026 runs from 28 March to 31 May across 10 cities in India. 84 matches, 10 teams, and the most electric cricket atmosphere on the planet. We design bespoke IPL itineraries with premium tickets, hotels, and cultural experiences including the Golden Triangle — delivered by our specialist ground operator in India.
